About Bioscafe

Bios Cafe has been a gathering place for many locals and travelers over 50 years. Bios was named the winner of the country's best eatery along the road in 2006.

Try the 4 course menu on a Saturday night or à la carte. We put together the menu according to the customer's wishes at special events.

Resources from Reisa

The menu has a great touch of local produce; Old Norwegian Short Tail Landrace from Vildenvang farm in Storvik, Highland cattle from Skogstad farm in Straumfjord, Reindeer meat Ráisduottarháldi district, fish from Reisafjorden. Chanterelles, stone mushromms and berries are picked in the area and we only use potatoes from Reisadalen and Kildalen. Sauces, dressing, carrot bread, pesto, oils and hamburgers are made on the house and only fresh vegetables are used.

We want to develop further and use local raw materials as much as possible. The Reisa district offers a wide range of quality ingredients that our dining guests enjoy.
